What’s Sex Favorable andIs it Good for Nudism?

What’s sex-positive?
Sex favorable means recognizing and honoring that everybody is exceptional in their own sexual identity, orientation, and multitude of sexual desires. Sex-positive says it is alright to be hypersexual, and it’s ok to be asexual (ie, no interest in sex).Gay, straight, bi, transgender, intersex, polyamorous, monogamous, BDSM, fetishes, kinky sex, vanilla sex. Essentially, so long as it is between consensual adults, it’s all A okay.
This means entirely refraining from shaming or judging a man for his or her sexual activities and preferences. It’s important to note that the authorization aspect rules out sex with animals and children.(There are disagreements about what constitutes approval, but I’m not going to get into that.)
As nudists and naturists, there is always the need to highlight that nudism isn’t about sex. This is mainly since nudity and sex are so inextricably associated in people’s heads.
Our philosophy is a sex positive one.
We welcome everyone, including swingers, provided that they behave and abide by the rules at occasions.
(I mention swingers because they’ve ever been present in the naturist community. Sadly, I was raised in a home where nudity was no big deal. become swinger sex resorts.)
So naturism is not about sex or sexuality. And yet, what we uncover that irritates everyone else, are the genitals and female breasts (at least in part since they are considered sexual). In America I’d like to believe we’ve slowly become less prudish about showing skin as bathing suits went from modest one-piece body suits to the teeny bikini.
But genitals and female breasts have always stayed taboo. Do our hang ups about sex cause our hangups about full-frontal nudity?
“But on the other hand, I must admit, if I think about it carefully, we are together hung up about sex nudity. We are embarrassed by it. We hide it. We stigmatize it and we put together support the facade where in public we all treat it as socially unacceptable.
Nevertheless, it’s very much part of us. We can’t escape it; it is constantly with us. We can try and suppress it; we can try to hide it, but in the end, it’ll always keep coming back to haunt us.”
Sex Positive Gender Identity
Is the sex-positive movement great for naturism? In my opinion, absolutely. Or the shame aboutour bodies and the genitals we’re constantly striving to hide.
We can accept that sex is part of being human.

We continue publishing stories shared by our subscribers that are female – young naturist girls

Hopefully we could learn to be as comfortable with our sexual parts, as we’re with the remainder of our bodies.
Be More Body Favorable
Are not some folks opposed to striving nudism because it involves exposing specific parts, rather than because it shows body fat or flaws? Because they’re more self conscious about their genitals?
In For the longest time, my nudity has been limited to my house, backyard, or distant areas with no one else around. on sex-positive, I also came across this quotation from Betty Dodson herself:
If we’re able to grow up knowing the genitals are beautiful parts of our bodies, we’d be proud, we wouldn’t have shame, we wouldn’t have sexual remorse.
It is worth repeating: Genitals are amazing parts of our bodies. Yes! For all those sex-positive educators and activists out there, please teach people this. The naturists, as well as lots of other people, will be forever thankful.
Goodbye body / sexuality / genital shame, hello sex-positive, body-positive world.
What do you consider the sex-positive movement / doctrine? Should naturists embrace it, and do you believe it helps naturism?
